They are currently working on making cross server friendslist/linkshell.

I prefer no text bubbles. Well, unless there is a way to turn it off as there is already too much to look at in the first place- especially during 24 man raids.

The grind between ARR to HW is real. But, since you are level 70, you don't have to worry about doing it again?

If you really want extra content, glamour is end game. Kidding, but seriously, level up some crafting or gathering classes. Level up another class. Get yourself some ponies, birds, or puppies. PVP counts, my dude.

NO. CONTENT. Like, not literally 0, but almost. Two primals and 4 boss fights called "raid". Where is the rest of the content? And no, pvp doesnt count, nor does leveling alts. I'm talking proper content.

Assuming we all can see, you have not even been playing a month. Try not using leveling potions to hit end game and this would never be an issue.

This is definitely something that needs to be addressed and SE have acknowledged it. Only a matter of time now as it is in great demand, and it would have a very positive effect on the game.

Why when someone "talks" the text is only visible in the god damn chat window? WoW did this shit better 10 years ago!.

Because it's a story driven game. Simple as that. Plenty of games across many genres lock content behind the main story.

Why are boss fights called raids? That is not a raid! Its just another trial like the primals. I know there are proper 24 man raids, but why wasnt there one with the first patch of SB? Which leaves me to ...

This isn't WoW. You don't get the entire tier in one patch. Just a different game with a different studio who release content differently.

Unless you have unlocked and have a cleared check mark on literally every instance in the duty finder/raid finder, I'm of the opinion that you can't really complain about "zero content".

It's also a bit ironic, to say there's too much story to do, then turn around and complain that there is nothing to do. What?

I would like to state that I'm not trying to make an argument, I just want to understand you opinion, so how come?.

Well Final Fantasy is known for having those huge espeser/summons/eidolon/primals to be their ''pets'', when you summon them. Like when you fight again'ts them you earn their trust or show that you have enough power to defeat them. This game doesn't show any of it. SMN is a dot machine with ruin spam most of the time, summon bahamut doesn't even go show that you have controll of summon's at all. You get some of it's power yeah but it's not main core. I want more like you controll the pet fully and it's skills, like actually using them as primary skills. This will never happen ever in this game.
BLM doesn't feel BLM, ever, I'm not complaining about the actuall playstyle here, but it's how it's done. Fire, blizzard and thunder. BLM in other games had way more spells. It felt extremely weird casting fire on ifrit too actually.

A person who wants a game that's NOT like WoW is going to find themselves disappointed with XIV because of just how much like WoW it is.

The endgame PvE progression is almost exactly the same. The key difference is that XIV has an economy that's the best I've ever seen in an MMO, where you can make money by building nearly anything and can legitimately just spend your endgame being a virtual tycoon instead of fighting monsters.

Have you thought about WHY?? you can make money in FFXIV? it is the very reason why it is one of the worst, and worst I seen. The game hands out gear like it is candy, HQ is the requirement, and because of this, it has low activity. Because of the low activity and moment, it does not encourage the mass to buy or sell stuff. This on top of the issue gil is pretty worthless meaning its only real use is minions, glams, and housing. FFXIV's ecnon is more taking advantage of the lazy. (Check out stuff you can buy at a vendor it sells 10x+ at times on the MB just because people do not want to take 2 minutes to find out and go to the vendor) more so then having a real active economy. Then you have to consider because of the slow movements, makes you wonder why undercut spam is an issue. (along with no restrictions on undercut spam, like wow's advance tax, as well being too transparent in undercut spam)

So because of all those problems^ it becomes a perfect storm when something new/ rare is released. It gets overvalued af because how the top richest people have too much gil, huge stockpiles because of nothing to do with it, leading to exchanges limited to them.

To be clear, I am not complaining about not making money in FFXIV, its quite the reverse, I can make money and have nothing to do with it.
