I'm aware I have Regen on, and I know who the mobs are going to beeline for. That gives me all I need to know to intercept them, while still keeping up the pace. Same goes for leftover Regen after finishing off a pack of mobs, which it's much harder to blame a healer for.

If I miss out on the fact that I have Regen on and mess up a pull, I consider that to be as much my bad (for not paying attention) as the healer's.
Have I missed a memo or something about not using Regen on trash pulls AT ALL? I'm talking after they've pulled humongous packs, not a handful of mobs. Apologies if I misread your meaning I usually PoM/Aero 3, assize if it's off cooldown, few holys, maybe use benediction/eye for an eye/regen if the tank's out of cooldowns. I usually chuck a regen on extra squishies as well, and have had yet to rip hate off the tank to the extent some people are suggesting in this thread, aggro bar rarely moves (maybe if I'm level synced down into Cutter's Cry Then again I'm extra careful there and in other lower level dungeons, new tanks learning and all that). Depends on the tank really, if they're new to the instance and finding their feet, it's just adjusting to each other's flow. Healers and tanks should support each other!!

the nyou keep running and don't take aggro back from them you finis hthe pull and if deaths need to occur for them to learn, so be it. If I throw a shield up too late I run to the tank for easy management, I know better xD

I've seen it more and more as well. When called out, the healer usually tells the tank to git gud, or "no other tank has complained."

As a tank main from beta phase all the way to 3.2, I have to agree that tanks should get good. Even in the old days when emnity still needed watching out, I had no trouble pulling with regen as long as the healer wasn't rushing ahead of me. Now with buffs to tank enmity, there's even less trouble.

    Learn to pull. Seriously.

The situations where mobs spawn from different points you cannot take aggro to all of them at same time even if you're the best tank of the game. If healer is decent and knows he have aggro, he will come to me and I can flash before even a single mob touch him. But no, the healer see he got aggro and run away instantly, and NO, I will not run to the other side of the map. I must learn to pull, and healer must learn how deal with aggro.

Unless your "learn to pull" means "learn to check if healer put a regen and take it off before pull", that is a lesson I learned but healers got good at timing it so I cannot help.

Then, about telling them nicely, the only answer is like yours, "i regen when i want and you need git gud with pulls". Helpless.

Go practice in Cutter's Cry, in the first two rooms where mobs will spawn evenly spaced out in the room. You should have no problem grabbing all of them with regen on you. You don't need to be the best tank of the game. It should be part of your basic repertoire.

You hit one and all comes to you. Flash. End of games. Aggro so strong there that even regen haven't time to take it off before they reach you.

Paying attention to the monsters goes for every role.

Notice the name color on enemies, for example - If the monster has still the orange text on him, it simply has aggro'd because the player was with its range and will bounce to the next player who performs damage on it, heals or otherwise uses a group utility buff. Once the text is red and on not on the DPS or healers, you can go wild with whatever you need to do.

There is absolutely no reason to put additional stress on the party by dropping regen before any damage has gone out. This is not on the tank. This is on the healer to be a good, responsible healer and consider how their actions affect the party.
