RDM's Vercure should be removed or heavily nerfed

There's no doubt that RDM's ability to solo content is due to Vercure being overpowered.

Seriously, just think about it.

Melee DPS have two LONG cooldowns to just slightly heal. Ranged DPS only have Second Wind. BLM doesn't have ANY self-heals, SMN has a very poor Physick and they LOST sustain in 4.0. Why should RDM have any noticeable self-healing abilities at all, when no other DPS have this?

Vercure needs to either be removed or reduce RDMs base MND in line with SMN. It's a broken ability compared to every other DPS and has no place in the game when you look at its capabilities. It's also the only reason to why RDM is carried through PotD solo, and is literally the ONLY job able to get to floor 200 solo. This should not be the case. I should not be forced into playing RDM to get an achievement which is literally impossible to get on every other job.

Also RDM needs a lot more nerfs in general, when over 80% of casters are RDMs, it's clearly not balanced.

Sure whatever, I only use vercure to have dualcast up pre pull in df because its a dps loss in any other situation. Don't really care about soloing potd either but makes total sense to make sure it's impossible on every job. Hell you know what make verraise incompatible with dualcast, it'll be nice not having healers slack around me anymore.

Any damage nerfs though? No. RDM doesn't do enough damage to justify nerfs. It'll get dropped in the dust for farms any way as BLM is the far superior damager.

You're playing RDM extremely wrong if you're not face rolling high DPS. Low skill, high DPS, pretty good utility.....c'mon man.

Why not instead ask to increase the potency of other jobs then to compensate? Like if BLM doesn't have as strong utility, then they should naturally have stronger DPS.

Third place in v1s, second place in v2s, second in v3s, third in v4s whose only competitors are samurai and monk. BLM damage Wise is far and away stronger than it's colleague casters.

Should make some happy. In the 75th percentile RDM is now the literal bottom for v3s. But I mean no yeah RDM is completely unaffected by any and all mechanics and does too much damage.
