SCH Macros for Chain Stratagem & Excog

Hi everyone, just as the title says I'm looking for some good macros for these two skills (I'm awful at coming up with macros).

I mainly want to use them to notify party members of Chain's buff on an enemy and also to let tanks (I'm looking at you PLD) know Excog is active and to not waste time/resources casting Clemency.

/party "Chain Strategem has been deployed! 15% increased crit chance for 15 seconds."
/action "Chain Strategem"

That's what I use for Chain Stratagem and it's worked rather handily so far.

No need, imo.
1. Good players monitor boss debuffs.
2. Chain Stratagem won't miracously reset timer on burst CDs - TA, WF, BL, RS etc are used in specific points of rotation. So, its your job to time CS into these, not DPS.
So, basically, all that macro do is shouting "Look, i'm helping!"

Same with Excog. Good PLD will notice buff. Bad - won't read party chat or do as they "comfortable" anyway.

Its always a good idea to communicate as a healer. Not evey player knows what the Icon for Chain Strategem looks like or does. The same goes for Excog. The more info you can give about your abilities the better. It is especially important to say the name of the person you are reviving too. It always feels bad when a single person dies and both healers reflexively use Swift Cast simultaneously to raise them. Now both Healers have Swift Cast on cool down and its too valuable to waste.

Eh, given how many people abandoned SCH in the first wave of patches I more have it simply to let people know the ability even exists. These days whether or not I use it depends on the party at hand. -shrug-

I wanna say with Excog it would be helpful to have that heads up that it's out there but at the same time for the times when it's mostly used it won't really be lasting long for awareness (Like an incoming Tank buster, or in mobs that are just plowing through HP), but for how often it's used at the same time it might annoy some groups depending on who they are to see that pop up so much.

And they can't and won't suddenly change their rotations to maximize CS returns.
So, what's the point when all your spam in chat do is avert ppl attention from the fight and hotbars? Many ppl, myself included, rarely glance to that corner at all during the fight.

When something like this happens and healers reflexively push their rez macro, it will be too late to notice message in party chat.

All of this is just a old hated Berserk macro, lite version.

Well, I'm not too fond of party chat either, but if you really want to put them in a macro, use something like this:

/ac "Chain Stratagem" <t>
/ac "Chain Stratagem" <tt>
/micon "Chain Stratagem"

Same thing to Excog. It will ensure that you will cast the skill on the target you're aiming or on the target of the target (Tank's target > Boss or Boss target > Tank)
