Haven't you guys noticed that the primal drop sets are thematic. Ifrit's weapons are focused on damage dealing. By that standard they are quite effective. The devs already mentioned they are looking into additional bonuses proccing on attack spells as well as AA, which would add damage to Ifrit's mage weapons even further as well as make the Moogle mage weapons desirable.
