Can We Have More Dyes Please?

The dye selection in this game is extremely limited and it feels like we get ONE new color once in a blue moon. We only have 103 colors, which sounds like a lot, but compared to other MMOs, it's down right pathetic.There's so many color variants we don't have like the purple on the DRK AF3 cape, or the vibrant red on the RDM AF3 gear. We could really use some more vibrant shades. So many of the colors we have just seem so washed out. I can't see why new dyes come out so slowly. I can't really see new colors being that much development work, if any at all, and if it IS, something is horribly wrong. Give me some apple reds, hot pinks, some vibrant purples, just more choices in general. Thanks.

Although I really think it's time to give us something like this! It would help us a lot to be able to choose in a more exact way the dye that we want (Or add many more dyes to have good options)

Also, make the rare dyes... Not rare?
Or permanently unlockable. (GW2 may have spoiled me a bit on this point, even if the unlocking process itself is now a cash-grab)

And more dye channels. Tired of ending up with white trim or poorly-treated gradients. :-(

Dye channels and vibrant colours would be great. As much as I love some colours, having an entirely green or blue piece is kind of weird, especially on more ornate items.

When you can dye everything metallic pink and look fabulous, why would you need anything else?

I was actually wondering if it would be possible to get some patterns to use as dyes. Stuff like plaid, military camouflage, checkered, polka dots, etc. And then have various different color schemes available similar to how we have color variations of the metallic dyes.

Metallic pastel pink is the one my wife constantly asks for. A lighter 'silver', and a gold that's gold, not brass.

My only dye request is the shade of red that is used on the majority of the existing gear. There are so many pieces that have this bright, vibrant red and no dye to match it. Dalamud Red is slightly too dark.

I am not sure if that's actually the case. In fact, the only real mainstream MMO's I remember that have featured gear dye are Runescape and Rift, both of which don't even have nearly the amount of colour variety as FFXIV does.

That said, I suppose more different kinds of dyes would always be nice. So long as it doesn't get overexcessive.
