Nuts n' Points (Help me out!)

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has some sort of a points system in place for nuts?

Any programmers or even excel users that could make some sort of a system to keep track of a decent size LS for attendance vs nuts. Would be most gracious even for a template to get me started. I'm an above average joe with computers, but no formal training :P Thx for any help.

Sounds like you are referring to the ever controversial DKP system. You can find this on a lot of guild websites already if your linkshell is using a canned website (ex: guildworks) ..

Next thing you know you'll want people to use voice chat to do harder fights. I tried to get some folks on vent the other day for a moogle run after a couple of failures and was met with the ever brilliant response of "we don't need to talk, just burn the mobs down faster" because text chat is FTW *loud sigh*

I thought this was becoming a real MMO until that moment and your talk of DKP makes me wonder again.

as a member of a competetive LS with endgame style goals for 2.0 our nutts go to pretty much whoever gets em, we decided to try and give them to the ppl who have the most already so that at least they get used by someone. It really seems like its going to take a very long time to get 20 nutts saved up might as well pool them to someone who has a chance at getting 20 before 1.21 and content is obsolete. I have 3 from about 15 wins so far and no weapon drops. probably a 10% drop rate the same as weapons.

PS. XIVPads.com might be a good place for you, though im still working on a nice DKP as people want all kinds of different setups and with it being one of those controversial things its not my number 1 priority.

Else the place I'd recommend is Enjin they have so much and all kinds of tools and customization, defiantly worth a look.

Hey Jin, you got office tools like excel or are you just looking for like, a google spreadsheet?

just saying your best bet is giving to the ppl who have the most already the chances of an avg player getting 20 drops by 1.21 is slim at best. Even a very aggressive player doing 25wins a week is going to have trouble getting all 20 by 1.21

Eh... I would recommend getting together with your Lead Group and figuring one out that suits your needs. =/ There's not really a one size fits all for DKP.

We just /random for who gets the next 20. So far we've completed 2 weapons for people with nuts alone, one of whom is 7/7 already, and working on our third. Would take far too long to just have them spread out equally or randomly.
