Sidequests Appreciation! (small spoilers)

So many so maaaany sidequests thank you
There's nothing more amazing than a world full of stories and I'm amazed/glad they gave us so many sidequests in stormblood.

I just want to thank them for all the writing and creativity in making these and having the care and determination to create so many of them.

My favorite sidequest? It HAS to be the one at Ruby Sea with Suzume, the male au ra, and the hyur. One that really stuck with me was also the one with the male roegadyn who being a roegadyn is too awesome and catches monster fish instead of regular fish. That one really stayed with me, great writing and thought on that one.

Do you all have a favorite one? Even if not favorite, one you remember a lot and will never forget?

I loved that quest too in the Ruby Sea I sometimes wish it would be nice for more sidequests to open up in HW and SB areas when you're levelling a different class, and more dailies akin to Beastmen Tribe quests.

If you include job quests as Sidequest than I would go with the 30-50 Dark knight quests.

I loved that series. I also enjoyed the SCH ones(which is the only time I actually played as a SCH). Wish we had more quests that involved the Nymians.

But there are definitely some great sidequests in the game. I haven't even done 1/3 of the total sidequests(I always see tons of them around the older maps...), and most of them aren't even worth doing for the EXP as everything aside from crafters and BTN is 60+...though the gil will be a nice addition...even if it isn't that much.

i'm surprised so many people in the expansion lose their fishing rods and I have to go dive for them. butter fingers!

I did really enjoy the sidequest chains in each area that had us following short character arcs and making friends -- and then bringing those friends together. Those were really neat! Some of the regular ol' sidequests in the Azim Steppe were interesting too, just because of the potential for introducing/expanding on Xaela culture.

Otherwise, I feel like most of the sidequests were essentially standard fare -- which is fine, just not something I can get terribly excited about.
