♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
How so? White HQ = Blue drop/blue bought by tokens / blue crafted HQ= green drop = green HQ crafted = pink (as far as Damage and main stats)
Other the pink pointing out random sub stats and white NQ/green NQ/blue NQ being under stat totals (btw white NQ= green NQ = Blue NQ) the colors are meaningless. The only thing that has meaning is HQ/NQ difference and they do not differ in color other then a little symbol and border outline. So if I have a crafted blue i250 weapon lets say, it needs be HQ to it have the same stats as blue drops, blue token and white HQ and green HQ will have same stats, etc and a blue NQ will have the same stats as white NQ or green NQ, how in the world do colors have meaning in this game?
But I will accept your idea :3

I have this problem too. I was buying incorrect items from early in the game though so I just got used to the realy awful naming of items and double-triple-quadruple check what I'm clicking on.
Would be excellent if SE just made skill speed and spell speed into one thing like OP suggests.
.
I tend to give the dev team more credit than that. These guys are pros. They can walk AND chew gum at the same time. If I can successfully balance multiple simultaneous projects in my line of work, even when I'm naturally bad at it, then these guys can implement this without missing a beat or a deadline.
I hope so, be nice for things to be easier to understand. I am still baffled by the material and materials thing for GCs thoughI tend to give the dev team more credit than that. These guys are pros. I don't know if it helps or not, but "materiel" usually refers to military equipment, whereas materials, are the actual mats.
I agree the names are very similar, icons similar .etc. You don't need to be dyslexic to make that mistake however, I'ts very easy to do if not paying attention.
OP, I think the one mistake forever should be adjusted too. Something like 1 every major patch cycle (x.0, x.2, x.4) would be enough without significantly increasing the GMs workload.
I would suggest regrouping the items for purchase to reduce the frequency of this error type. Right now, they are grouped by character slot (Head, chest, gloves, etc...) . I would just regroup them by role/jobs/main stat (Tank, Healer, Caster, STR/MNK/SAM, DEX/BRD/MCH).
How hard is it - and I'm asking because I genuinely don't know, not because I'm trying to make a point - to implement the ability to sell back to NPCs for the currency you bought it for? It just seems weird to me that if you bought the wrong item from an npc, you can't immediately go right back to that same NPC and exchange it for what you want. If it's a server load issue or something, then sure, put a limit on it, but yeah this once per lifetime limit is absurd.
No idea, I am wondering that too. With this I figured it out within 5 minutes. I was trying to move it in my ring slot and it wasn't working =/. Should do 2 hrs like wow does, there shouldn't be any reason other then they do not want to for some reason. How hard is it - and I'm asking because I genuinely don't know, not because I'm trying to make a point - to implement the ability to sell back to NPCs for the currency you bought it for? the recall I used was for 3.3? around there, we are in a new expansion and still follows me? That is BS
