Hey, not objecting to you, Jenn, nor the circumstances. I'm just trying to point out the situation as we know it, irrespective of any other impending methods (sorry if it sounds like I'm being impatient over the promised new method).

And no, I haven't been billed yet, but the information I have is pieced together from watching what has happened with XI, research on C&B, and past experience with international banking.

Agreed, and fingers are still crossed on that one. But this is more about what happens if someone remains with Click&Buy anyway.

It's exactly why they've been waiting since the last post from Yoshida on it iirc mention a 30 day wait which is why it hasn't been put into effect yet but will be by time we begin payment (think it was around Dec 6th the post was made). This is why I wish people didn't complain about POL..it may not have had much use in NA/EU, but it was how they took direct payment internationally <.<

With the 30-day notice, I agree that this is why they announced the restarting of billing sufficiently early - laws of fair notice are indeed important to work with and complicated when straddling regions.
But what concerned me was a lack of detail on the impending new payment method other than "it's happening".

The restarting of billing and the new billing method are two separate issues and people need to avoid confusing the two, despite the fact that they are pretty much coinciding.

Billing starts Jan 6th.

The new method should be implemented around this time, which means Jan 6th give or take. It may not even happen till Feb if we're unlucky.
