So Devs,

I don't know how often this occurs, but I just had two people leave the match BEFORE gates were open for a good 30 seconds. With only me and the WHM left, it counted as an automatic loss and docked me ranked points.

Maybe there should be a Body Count Check before gates open so the victims of this aren't penalized, but the leavers are heavily punished.

That'd actually make sense, of course they won't implement that.

Well you can give them a penalty. Like the way LoV does it. A full 24 hour penalty.

Just report them i have reported some players just forfeiting the game on purpose standing still spamming nice job! whole match.

This is why I suggested the points system for ranking -- for issues like this - and others.

The person leaving just needs a harsher penalty beyond the 30 min lockout, there always needs to be some sort of match cancellation if a team is a man down or at the very least an instant loss instead of having someone waste 8 mins of their life.

I know there were very, very rare times last season where a match would actually not count if someone left before it finished loading(?) not sure what the condition was that triggered it, I've only seen it happen twice.

You could coordinate with someone else and game the system. Let's say your partner is on the enemy team, you can just have them leave the match. If they're on your team with you, and the enemy team looks strong, you can just have them drop for you so you won't lose any points.
