You have to prove your side to be the supermajority position if you want to force speed runs in Duty Finder.

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is be a tank and then bring a friend for security reasons. Granted, if the DPS and / or healer are wheelie bins, you might not get very far.

Maybe super turbo pulls aren't the norm, but single pack donks aren't either.

I did forget that playing this game is like a household chore for some people.

When you do the same dungeons several times a week, every week, they do begin to feel like a chore. Wanting to get them over with as quickly as possible so you can pursue the fun stuff in the game isn't entirely unreasonable.
