Item Linking Improvement/Suggestion?

hello. now more than ever, with the increased tabs to our inventory, i think it could be good to improve how we can link items.

i wouldn't mind seeing something like how auto-translate works. you type something and press tab and it gives you a list of anything relevant. maybe could also do the same for our inventory? worst case i see is just set it to hold down tab, but i wouldn't know if this would cause a conflict or not.

but it would be cool to just basically type in part of the item name, hit tab and then have it linked to chat.

Linking abilities would also be nice, but that might be asking far too much.
