I noticed the few times it happened to me if I swapped to a JP data center it purged my main from the server and I was able to log in again. If not you'll need to wait out that ticket sadly.
Just the "An unexpected error has occurred..." Pop up window that once clicked on force closes the whole game. I have an alt on the same data center and can log in and out of it fine but can't get on my main at all. I'll try what you suggested since I have no other option but to wait lol
