It's not so much that a bot will negatively impact me, it's that following the rules has a negative impact. By doing everything without botting, I spend hours upon hours of my time for benefits they get while they are AFK. If SE wants to give the go-ahead and say botting is fine we won't do anything about it, then great! I'll get right on the train first thing tomorrow! But that's not how it works, so I just get to feel jealousy over these people not playing by the rules and getting not only what I have, but actually way more, for nothing.
