Any tip for ninja in 4v4

Hello mates!

I just started to queue in ranked Feast. I'm stuck in bronze and i have no way to leave it.
I play my favourite class ninja but i'm losing so many games (atm 30% win). I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I noticed my team mates doing huge mistakes like bad positioning or tank playing like a dps but I can't tell them because of the chat restriction (which is so stupid btw).

It's pretty much impossible to carry a team by my own but I'm here to ask any tips or advices that can help me to maximize my win chance.

The only melee job I'm playing is drg(still practicing)so can't help you with nin

But generally,
-Manage burst, use the few most damaged skills within one gcd+cast time
-Notify your ranged dps when your LB ready/you going to use LB on target
-Use LB when it's a guarantee kill(below 80%hp ranged with no barriers like blackest night/whm sch barrier/cover etc; over stacked people, calculate it the vulnerability bonus will kill him)
-Mark/follow the mark to avoid splited damage
-Hit the kits/WH for healer
-Fall back as soon as your healer dies
-Make the right decisions (focus over stacked people at right time, like don't kill the 10stack tank at 4 min and make your team over stack; focus/cc the dps/tank peel for healer; focus ranged/over stacked people for wins in last 2min etc)

I don't think melee still has that high solo carry ability as 3.0 Pvp, but 30%wr is way too low
Waiting for good nin players' tips maybe(but actually you can figure every jobs out by just reading skill descriptions with like 5 games for practice lol, only 9 buttons anyway)

Hi, I started playing FFXIV with the new Stormblood expansion so take my advice with a grain of salt since I don't have much experience under my belt.

What I do have is a pretty decent win rate atm, I have been spamming out ranked games for the last 2 days and am currently at 753 rating with a 62.9% win rate.

Here are some things that may help you:

• You should be taking both the attack/defense buffs. (At least that's how it works for my Data Center - people seem to play different on the other Data Centers)
• Start off with a Shadow Fang debuff on your target as that'll help you nuke your opponent down when you use your burst combo.
• Use your burst combo wisely, when they are fairly low on hp. (eg. Aeolian > Bhavacakra > Assassinate)
• If you are targetting a healer - you should throw in your Jugulate <65% then use your burst combo.
• Pay attention to buffs/debuffs and split medals evenly between your team.
• Look at the Enemy team's makeup and tweak your traits to suit.
• Make some Shukuchi macros to help you close in on your target or 'NOPE' it back to your healer. (I'll paste the ones I use at the bottom)
• As a melee, it is really helpful to mark and announce who you are focusing - you'll want to jump from target to target at times and this really helps your dps counterpart focus fire.
• Use Katon to apply heavy on kiting targets or those pesky monks/tanks to help relieve the pressure on your healer.
• Don't over-extend too much and attack Adrenaline/Wolf crates when they are up.
• Pay attention to your Range DPS's nukes (Animation/Sound) and line them up with your own burst combo.

Macros:

• This jumps to your selected target
• /micon Shukuchi
• /merror off
• /pvpac Shukuchi <t>

• This jumps back to your healer
• /micon Shukuchi
• /merror off
• /pvpac Shukuchi <3>

If there is anything that isn't good advice, feel free to correct me. Also open to advice myself as I'm aiming for top 100 (Really want that armour set.)

Indeed i need to pay attention before using LB I failed it almost everytime I use it to finish my target. I'm gonna add the Quick Chat about Full Adrenaline to infor my mates so the ranged dps can assist me and tank can CC the healer.
I already use the macro Target Shukuchi macro but not the healer one.Thank you Fish.

Also, I think the Developers should remove the chat restriction so we can write to teamates. All useful instructions aren't in the Quick Chat. They should also a premade queue to play with friends.

You could try not posting anything else, ever.

Most important thing for any dps player is to practice a burst combo. Burst is extremely important, you absolutely need it to reliably knock a target out. Just practice until you can fire off as much damage as possible in the shortest timeframe. Fishingsloth's advice is good.

Literally just need to build your bar high enough that you can Bhavakrararka and Jutsu right after while hitting Aeloian Edge and all your other OGCD.

That's it.

Just make sure your other DPS and you focus down the same target.
