Public Companies?

Funny thing is that you guys make up your own dream world (and expectations) and then already start getting ready to rant about something they never promised in the first place ....

I think we will have 2 different kind of companies.

1) Grand Companies. NPC based.
2) PC Companies. Players based. This one will be added later. I remember Yoshi saying something about not willing to add those before there is more content and mre stuff to do in Eorzea.

I take special care not to do what you accuse us of doing here. I tend to deride players and podcasters that get lost in completely wishful chains of speculation; these end up making reality, when it materializes in-game, feel lame by comparison.

I believe most of the people writing in this thread remember specific mentions of player-managed companies by the previous team. I haven't seen the material you mention, in which Yoshida reportedly says the player-managed companies will have to wait. Would you mind providing us with a link, or a specific reference, to your source for # 2?
