    [Dev Team Request] raise the difficulty of 24-man raids to Savage mode.

    Look at blade and soul's 24-man raids: you wipe if someone doesn't do a mechanic right, in every single 24 man (FFXIV) it seems as if you can get away with it. One full pt down, np can still manage to go through it with the rest of the alliance. In bns that's a wipe, every team needs to do mechanics in order to succeed. In 4.1 we get return to ivalice, so before releasing it - please consider to make it a challenging content for tanks (positioning at a certain spot and yes that means all TANKS NEED to do something, not just one tank that mostly is mt, aggro hold on adds, usage of serious defensive cd for heavy attacks), healers (tank busters, raid busters, like in o1s party will have zero health and need to use big cd to up the health), DPS -> enrage timer should be met, fail to kill adds = instant wipe, they blow up. This means all adds within 20s so DPS is pressured with the adds having a huge hp pool. That makes it fun to do it and rewarding when receiving your loot. Can also have a normal mode tier of 24man raids so casuals aren't excludedThoughts?

    Future 24 should not be like savage. They are catch-up raids for the more casual player to reach a higher Ilvl. The difficulty of Wiping City of Mhach was near perfect though. This game does not need more high difficulty content, but some mid-way twixt ex dungeons and ex trials as the jump in attention/skill required is too large as is.

    Yeah it was, you could not really clear with 1 party down, got close a few times but was wipe in the end. The first one was too easy but city and the one after it was fine.

    the difficulty of the recent 24 man raids was perfect imo , duty finder content cant be as difficult as savage otherwise it would be almost impossible to clear it with random people

    Raising difficulty on 24 man raids means locking the completion of that content for 90%+ of playerbase.

    Tbf since he used v1s as a comparison i suppose he's thinking about that as an average difficulty, (that said savage is only 1 boss while 24 man raids are much bigger not so sure if it'll work out)

    BnS have 24m raids that are hardcore and 24m raids that are for casuals (well, not anymore due to the low numbers of players they will drop raids to 12m instead of 24m), 24m raids in FF14 are aimed at casual players. Don't you worry, people will wipe a lot similar to past tiers.

    If you increase the difficulty the duty finder for 24m will die since with 4.1 will bring the option to queue as Alliance all you are going to do is left out the people the content was aimed for.

    Finally a more in-depth post - love it! Ok ok I'm a creative girl so what if, ok hear me out! What if we get two tiers of modes from the return of ivalice? One normal difficulty with normal loot and one savage difficulty with 10ilvl higher? I mean this means players that are casuals can do the normal mode and catch up, and players that enjoy higher difficulty get more options. This may actually make FCs relevant since the more savage difficulty will have FC based static raids and ppl need to communicate more with discord nd stuff. Just thought it was an alternative way other than the boring 8-man savage meta.

    we can see from the wiping! city that people can't take anymore difficulty than that, which was not hard.
    it'll be harder to keep 23 other people together and would disband in a flash. weeping was perfect difficulty and should stay from there on.
