But my cat is an asshole and does this.

I also live in the country, so my internet connection is very poor a good chunk of the time. I do my best to only queue when it's stable, but sometimes I just get hit with a lag spike out of nowhere. If you honestly believe people can't have internet/hardware/other issues like children or pets interfering, you probably shouldn't be doing duty finder.

I can attest to this. There have been plenty of times where just out of nowhere my cat will jump on me and lay across the keyboard just so I'll rub her belly.

Coincidentally, right after i posted that, my cat ran behind my desk and did...something, managing to turn off both my power strip and pull on the monitor cord hard enough to unseat my video card.

I love him. He's a jerk though.

If your point was that people frequently lie about why they're playing badly, yes, obviously that's true, but people also frequently have internet/hardware problems. It's better, in my mind, to just believe them (or act as if you believe them) because it's really not worth the drama and internet problems especially can be frequent enough that who are you to call it a lie?
