SCH Pet Control Adjustments? (SCH, and applicable to SMN)

While on SCH, I run into this issue where the pet will not fully execute actions due to the automatic casts that they are programmed to do. This issue usually presents while using Rouse/Fey Illumination/Whispering Dawn. The first 2 will execute but the last, and arguably most important ability in the set, will not execute unless I manually execute it.

The problem arises when after executing Rouse/Illumination, she will detect any player with health missing at a portion that will force her to cast Embrace before the actions set in the macro. (And adjusting the macro timing will not fix the issue as it can clip Fey Illumination) Neither guard nor steady will halt this behavior. If either did, it would resolve several of the issues with micro-managing my pet. (pets if you use many) I shouldn't have to jam an ability 19 times for a pet to use it either. Or maybe I'm the only SCH with this woe. /shrug.

When using Eos or Selene, try to use her abilities AFTER her last embrace, as if trying to weave it. They will then take priority. Any ability a fairy has can be delayed because their effects happen over time, with the exception of silent dusk, but you can still manage it. This is why its so important for an SCH to know a fight so he can plan ahead. You hit rouse? You have plenty of time to get that whispering dawn off.

They just need to either make rouse sustain your pet or fully heal it and be done with the whole getting sustain back thing so RDM's Vercure can live if peace. e.e

Whispering Dawn has a 2 second cast time in addition to the fairy A.I. lag. Fey Illumination are instant abilities so you can easily force it with steady/guard in a macro. If an Embrace (2 second cast time) is already in queue, you have to wait 2 seconds before the Whispering Dawn begins to cast. If you interrupt the fairy with Steady/Guard in a macro, Whispering Dawn may get cancelled and then Embrace gets queued up once more.

I just learnt to accept the flaws of Whispering Dawn and attempt to use it well in advance of when it is absolutely necessary. Pet GCDs are usually out of sync with my own GCDs so micro-managing the pet can be inefficient.
