[Suggestion] Character "Personality" options (animations/etc)

I've been wanting something like this forever. Lukh'a's kind of shy and quiet, and a lot of the male Miqo'te emotes are much more confident and cocky than really suits him. Being able to pick between all the race and gender specific sets would be amazing, but even just a few 'generic' emote sets would be great to have.

I would absolutely love personalities that affect all animations. But that sounds like a lot of work. But if it's possible they should consider it since they aren't giving us more facial options or bigger butts.

If you aren't going to give more facial/body size options, at least let us choose the animations we use. Probably too much work for them to consider doing it but I would love to see it happen. I won't give up being a cat boy but I wish I could have the Elezen bow, the female cat "frustration" emote, and a few other things.

Rough: Roegadyn/Highlander animations
Childish: Lalafell animations
Effeminate(Males only): Female animations from your current race.
Masculine(Females only): Male animations from your current race.
Custom: ......custom

So players want animation of other races without playing the other races?
I prefer animations that don't already exist on other races. Give every race and gender their own unique personality animation (example: female Miqo'te knowing that she is sexy, male Lalafell who fear his own shadow and so on)

I love that idea. I am a female Xaela and even though we are a race that loves to fight, my character still uses way too much cute emotions. Its fine if some see it that way but my character is more of a silent, touch lady thus more "manly" emotions would fit her well.

If they cant give us a choice between all races then at least give us a choice if we want to use the male or female emotions of our race.

Maybe your character is a Mol? ^^

If SE should do it right then Xaela need around 51 personality options, for every tribe one. For you it can be the Dotharl personality

I do think it would be nice to give your character some customizable personality outside of their idle/sitting pose.

It would obviously take a lot of effort, though.

I agree with this, the motions for the Xaela females are too dainty considering they are supposed to be more rough than their Raen counterparts.

I would love to have some female Elezen emotes on my character!

The only thing I can think that might not work for that is the animations are key framed for the skeleton of the model, with the exception of anything done by mocap but even then it is key frame touched after to fix a few things. The pure keyframed animations might just brake the wrong models if used on the wrong skeletons
