The Problem & Solution for Eyepatch Glamours

    The Problem(s)
Eyepatches lack variety and style in a lot of ways. Considering the number of players that use eyepatches is without a doubt a minor number, I fully understand and accept this isn't a concern. But the real problem with eyepatches is how infuriatingly unusable they are by the people that want them.

Right sided eyepatches have a number of options, but class restrictions limit their use. While left sided eyepatches only have two options, one of which is limited by class AND gender?!

    The Solution
Here's my take on solving the problem. Square Enix just needs to make all class, dyeable variations of each style of eyepatch (Much like what the Gryphonskin Eyepatch is) and model them for both the right and left eyes. Then, attach the adjustment between the two eyes to the "Visor" emote function. Thereby compacting the eyepatch glamour to its simplest and most accessible form.

huh,... never thought about that. Yeah, a mirrorable function for all one sided headwear would be nice. Though some hairstyles may interact weirdly with sideswapped stuff. ... HEY!! Mirrored versions of hairstyles too! double the options with little to no invesment in development!

I don't care for eyepatches but on behalf of my dear friend who has wanted this forever, yes please to swappable eyepatches.

You say that like hairstyles don't already clip with just about everything. And it should be easy enough to do production wise. All they would need to do is make mirror models for each eyepatch. Attach the mirror image to the visor function so that it can be swapped at will. And release each style of eyepatch as their own individual and dyeable variations.

As someone with a dead left eye...yes please. I need more glamours to cater to my grievous injury. And more hairstyles that don't cover the only good eye I have left!

I totally support this idea. I don't personally use eye patches, but if this is something that actually happens it just opens the doors for a whole lot of new and useful things. One of my other characters has a bad eye, and I've always been upset with gear AND hairstyles that cover the wrong eye! I've actually sent a couple suggestions asking for a mirroring function for hair, but head gear is another great idea. Glad to see I'm not the only one who's thought this!
