Rogue/ninja quests are also ones of the best. The “eye candy” moments were even funnier in the 60 – 70 quests.
The only reason Ninja is just a little below Dark Knight on my list is because of the hilarious dynamics between Sidurgu and the moogles. I am glad they got built upon in Stormblood. My only gripe is that while the more personal approach to the WoL makes DRK quests stand apart, it imposes a characterisation on the WoL that may not fit with each player’s idea of their character.
So far FFXIV is doing a wonderful job of making me play classes I normally don't by breaking the molds that used to make me avoid them.

A big part of those quest lines was to helping Sidguru realize his reason for continuing the path of his master. Until we crossed his path, he was looking after Rielle more because that's what he and Fray were doing. We got to realize that there is something personal about being a dark knight, it's not just stopping the corrupted clergy, it's also about protecting things we care about.
