Bug: Error 3102 for many hours - char still logged in (confirmed)

Date & Time: August 11th, 2017, began at approx. 10:30am pacific.
Frequency: Ongoing.
World name: Exodus
Character name: Klu Ya
Retainer name: can't remember
NPC name: n/a
Monster name: n/a
Class/Level: Level 66 paladin
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: I don't remember
Area and coordinates: Lavender Beds, near my fc chobobo stables
Housing: I don't own a house
Steps:
1. Was sitting there training my chocobo, then stepped away from the computer.
2. Came back, game was fully closed - no error message.
3. Logged back into my account, selected my character, got 3102 message stating I'm already logged into the game.
4. Waited 2 hours, still same message.
5. Called support, they said to wait longer.
6. Waited 2 more hours, still same message.
7. Called support, they said to post here - they can't help.
*Add more steps if necessary

I have had my kids confirm from their own accounts it still shows me logged in, plus my character is still sitting there, and can be seen, afk staring at the chocobos. Please help!!

I just tested a bit more - a different computer doesn't help, and it says this for all characters I spot checked - both on exodus and others.

Edit - tried adding a one-time password to force myself to logout - no dice there either.
