Hello. Is there a possibility to make macros for a PvE Dragoon similar to PvP enviroment regarding how skills switch when you are making your certain combo?
Hello. Is there a possibility to make macros for a PvE Dragoon similar to PvP enviroment regarding how skills switch when you are making your certain combo?
SE has said "No" to this question. SE has taken the position that "human" error is an integral part of the PvE game experience. Thus, they want to the player to have ability to make the mistake of using the wrong skill and breaking the combo.
As for DRG specific, I use a macro which combines "Fang and Claw" and "Wheeling Thrust" onto one button.
/ac "Fang and Claw"
/ac "Wheeling Thrust"
/micon "Wheeling Thrust"
Macros dont queue, so you dont get the beneift of hitting the button as its coming up, you have to wait until after it comes up, and if you miss the window, you have to hit it again. macros in general, are bad for combat classes in every form, and its frowned upon to use them.
It's not possible with more than two skills. And even then it's a dps loss because you can't queue them. And if you were to go full retard and macro the whole thing with <wait.3> in between everything you're looking at a massive dps loss (and all kinds of problems weaving etc).
Things you want to macro are Goad and Dragon Sight. Here is an example.
GOAD/DRAGON SIGHT CLOSEST: (replace "Goad" with "Dragon Sight")
/micon "Goad"
/tpc
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/ac "Goad" <t>
/tle
Thank you all for replying. I will try out the macros you have showed me. Good luck out there.
I personally use this macro on dragoon.
/micon "Dragon Sight"
/action "Dragon Sight" <mo>
/action "Dragon Sight" <t>
I usually just hover the mouse on the party list on who I wanna give Dragon Sight to while still keeping the enemy targeted.
Awesome! Just what I need, thanks.
