Whenever I send a report I immediately switch to another character to avoid the GM's whisper because I'm actually super shy

Lol, I've dealt with two GMs on two different occasions, and both instances, they've been fantastic.
Both cases they've simply wanted to interview me in regards to my report. Basically to get better time stamps on chat logs and to get a clearer picture to what happened.
Both times I was thanked for being willing to report and help, and both were really kind.
The first instance was especially funny as I was MTing Cloud of Darkness for the first time when I got the first tell. After I barely managed to explain what I was doing, the GM was happy to wait on me and basically cheered me on. It was great. They are good people.![]()

GM's can, and do have in game charas they can use and play around with. They usually can access the online store for relative free as they get some perks and bonus for doing good jobs.
BUT... they CANNOT tell ANYONE outside of work and especially in game, that they are a gm, or what their regular chara is.
I'm not sure what their quota is though, Not sure how many reports they have to go through in a given hour, but sometimes it ends up being a long BS session with the GM, although I try and keep it to in game stuffs and things they should know about.
Thank you for the kind feedback, Cheviot! I do appreciate you taking the time to leave it, and I was very humbled to have assisted you in this matter. Hope to speak with you again! Take care!![]()
So are we all gonna make topics in general now when a GM is gonna help us with reports?
Why not? It's a nice change of pace over the usual complaints, rants, and "dev suggestions" that flood the forums.
Speaking as a former supervisor: Any time someone does a good job assisting you, it's good for them to tell their supervisor, or give some feedback to them, regarding the positive experience. Someone who gets frequent positive reports will be more likely to get promoted, or can have bonuses tacked on at the end of the year. At one point we were just straight up giving our TSRs $50 gift cards any time they got a happy "can I speak to your supervisor?" instead of an angry one.
You can also just brighten up a couple people's days if you spend a little bit of effort to give their organization positive feedback. Instant mood +10.
If you're on the phone and the call "may be recorded" you can just say, "For the record I think you did a great job and if your supervisor hears this, they should know you deserve some kudos."
You do have a point, and I may be posting for someone in regards some gm feedback soon. The person I am posting for however would like to know if you ever played a tarutaru in ffxi as same as your user name?
