Take the defensive box at the start if you are still uncomfortable with pressure, just stand on it while the melee or tank destroys it (let them build up their gauges pls).
There is a trait called "Increased Resistance Duration" this will extend the time until you can get cc'd (e.g. stun or silence) again by 50%(the blue cc debuffs will tell you when you can be cc again).
Try safeguard and sprint as additional skills, it is a very defensive approach, you won't have the MP refresh skill then(take the increased MP regen trait to compensate, so you have atleast the 25% bonus).

Best way to keep other players off you is letting your party not die. As soon as somebody in your party dies, the enemies will think you are in a weak spot atm and try to kill you too.
Try to manage cooldowns so you always have one last solution left for an emergency. Try to kite their melees so they line of sight their healers, it will be an easy target for your dps. Check if your paladin supports you with cover, you can cast freely then.

Positioning is really one of the most important parts in feast. You want to avoid standing open without obstacles, but still on the right side of obstacles so you can potentially see your whole team if you have too.

Try to heal fast but do not waste too much MP. Be aware that your team needs special care when other team got adrenaline boxes, there will be most likely a limitbreak soon.
And always try to get the wolfheart, it has MP regen which is still strong I believe and increased running speed, so perfect for running away.
Do not waste cooldowns for people with more than 4 stacks unless it's the last 10s of the match or so. These people will die if somebody touches them, so dont bother lol.

Ignore the nice job spam, don't try to spam back. xD You would only create an even more negative environment for the remaining players. A lot of players think that healer are the only one responsible for the win and tend to blame them for losses. This might be true for some healer who do a heal in a minute, but a lot of healer are trying their best. I bet every healer can tell you stories when they started feast as healer how they got tells that they should quit feast. xD Don't take it too seriously, it takes time sometimes.
