[Proposal] Instanced Gardening

Like the title says, lets get instance gardening. They had it in FFXI, so they already have a skeleton to develop off of.

Gardening is one of the main reasons that apartments didn't satisfy the community. There are of course others but this one is huge.

Housing in the current implementation should only be for RPing; however, due to gardening it has a significant game function attached to it. Thus, it isn't just an extra little glam style of thing.

Gardening instances would do away with this discrepancy and would help the whole locking people out of content issue. They could throw a choco stable in the instance as well and get both game functionality issues out of housing with one swing. Housing would be totally just for RPing/Decorating and would have no financial advantages to it.

Workshops are FC only anyway so, I have no idea for that.

STOP TRYING TO MAKE THIS THREAD INTO ALL THE OTHER "WE HATE EVERYTHING, CHANGE IT ALL FROM THE GROUND UP"!!! It will NOT happen so let's try and keep this thread talking about a solution that could work with/add on to the current system.

Add instanced gardening onto apartments. Make all players able to have the exact same size of garden, no more house size differences, so that everyone has the same production capabilities.

I want it for everyone, not just apartment owners due to the limited number of apartments. I am trying to do away with limitations.

Just continuously saying "Revamp" like every other thread on this forum does will not accomplish anything. This is a solution to help with some of the issues with the current major house system that they have, and which is unlikely to ever change in any major fashion.

Instanced gardening would give all players to the two things that housing has that actually affects other aspects of the game.

I'm a returner not been up to date with updates, i assumed appartments were the solution so everyone could have a house without requiring space, now i've been let down.

Having such a huge feature available to the lucky/rich/whatever-you-prefer was design stupidity.

Plant pots, apartments do not fix the flaw in the system but just adds sticky plasters to it. Each player should have access to a house, even just one per account, not just a few people.

Yes, literally everyone agrees with that statement but please do not derail this thread. They will not rework the whole system but they have added things to make things better. This is an addition to make a system that they WILL NOT CHANGE better. Does it give everyone the chance to have a pretty house no. But it takes away the two things that have DIRECT EFFECT ON OTHER FEATURES OF THE GAME away from the housing system and thus eliminates the restrictiveness of these two things.

Having a pretty house doesn't effect anything other than having a pretty house. Gardening effects the market and stables effect chocobos.

I agree with Saccharin. I'm honestly tired of band aid fixes.
