I am mainly writing this because I find support for victims of Scams is very lacking. I recently contacted the GM's in game about a scam.

I joined a party from party finder - which was advertising as Normal Loot Role in the description (I take screen shots of everything So I can prove what I am saying) The Description said - Omega Savage 1.0 Weekly Kill and 2 weekly chests - Normal loot. So I joined this party. How we managed to complete the duty was beyond me the Paladin who was tanking lost agro constantly to me and I was in deliverance - it was just bad. The Way the Paladin spoke to me as well was disgusting.

Anyway we did somehow manage to get the weekly kill - then the chests were opened and I find that loot master is in place. And a tanking item drops which I could have used.

So like i said i take screen shots of everything

and I can confidently say Loot Master was not advertised in Party Finder in fact Normal loot was advertised instead.

Anyway I asked the Party Leader why it was on loot master and this person said it was clearly advertised in Party Finder as loot master, I replied by saying no it was not and i have screen shots to prove this (And this is true I do have screen shots to prove this) The Party Leader then went on to insult me.

Since reporting this incident it has been discovered that these people were a pre-made from the odin server and are all friends. Some are in fact in the same free company as each other.

Now I know everyone will think it is my fault for not checking Duty - however I have been having issues with my duty finder for a while now and the GM's have been contacted a number of times because of the issues i am having with Duty. For example
1 - Being out of a duty and being bound by duty
2 - Duty not starting

Like i said i have informed the GM's every time and have in some cases had to be kicked from the game to resolve these issues.

So these people will hopefully be punished for Loot Fraud, because like i said i have screen shots which clearly show them claiming that it was listed as loot master in party finder - I have got screen shots which clearly show them listed in Party Finder and it clearly shows loot master was not selected - not only that i have screen shots of them after removing me from the party Advertising yet again in Party Finder this time for Omega Savage 2 and it says Omega Savage 2 weekly kill 2 chests normal loot - and again this has no mention of loot master what so ever in fact like they advertised before it says normal loot.

Now i have gotten in touch with the GM's and they have been nice enough, they do I believe want to stop this from happening again and I do believe they will possibly punish these people, for scamming.

However where does this leave me - What does this do for me - The GM's keep saying they are unable to do anything for me and I find this unacceptable, I strongly believe if it is a clear case of loot fraud or scamming then the victim needs to have to have something as a good will gesture weather it be getting the item the victim was scammed out of or weather it is getting something that the victim can use to get their own item or maybe even if it is having the loot for that duty reset so the victim can have a chance at getting something. In my opinion you need to as a company take better care of victims of scams.
