What if you want to use limit break while spineshatter dive is on cooldown? You will just stand there 3s doing nothing. Maybe the target will not be in melee range anymore.
What if you use the macro the moment you get stunned, it will run anyway but it will skip 1 or 2 lines.

There are only 9 skills + 2 additional + limitbreak, why macros? In PvP every second counts and you don't want to limitbreak a 100% target.
The only macro that would be okay are targeting macro.

Firstly - I have all the other skills bound to their own keys, to use separately if something like Spineshatter dive is on cooldown. I only use the macro when I want to make sure I get my limit break off on a target like someone with battle high.

But after some games it doesn't work well, for other reasons.

    1) It seems way less forgiving than it used to for targets that are simply moving away from you. Before I quit so long ago I could cast Limit Break and even if they were running away from me, that macro would fire it off pretty reliably. Today, opponents are simply just walking away from me and stopping the cast. That didn't happen nearly as often before. That means that macro'ing is not an ideal method for this since the .5 seconds or so are more important in making sure it catches them in range.

    2) Limit breaks were nerfed, hard. They used to do 90-100% of opponents health pool, almost always a guaranteed kill when used. It was so beautiful to dive in and limit break someone with battle high, and elusive jump out before anyone could react to what just happened, and my macro made it smooth and easy. Now I have to be much more choosy about who and when to limit break on, and if I plan on it confirming a kill, typically needs to land on someone taking a bit of focus fire already. No more diving on a bard or black mage and wrecking their day with a few easy buttons.

Ah well, it just means I have to play more strategically.
