Has anyone failed Bardem's Trial...ever?

I think with the introduction of jump potions this boss is perfect, yes you can do this in the Hall of Novice but the mechs. in this fight are more 'difficult'. I like that it's Dodging AOE 101... Class is in session and Yoshi-P is the teacher, teach me Senpai!!

I had a tank legit just refuse to do the mechs last night. Just stood in the middle and let the 3 of us deal with it.

Oh don't get me wrong...

The only problem is if they gave it any difficulty whatsoever people would scream and cry about it, this is why we have nothing really challenging. They try and they get blasted for it. Heck in Syrcus tower where we fought the 3 atomos, Yoshi said originally it was going to require pts to split into 3 groups and finish a separate objective each before coming back together, which would have been amazing, but they didn't think the playerbase could handle it. I just like having something new period since there is little in this game that isn't a faceroll thanks to a very vocal minority.

2nd time we ran the dungeon, friends of mine and I decided that we wanted to see what's going to happen, if you can't do the whole or just parts of the trial. So we just stood in the middle and didn't move, intentionally failing. But have I ever seen it fail in DF? Nope, sure there's some players that will fail all sequences of that "boss" fight, but mostly at least 1 person makes it through, therefore nobody needs to repeat it. I am still waiting tho, that everybody fails next time I get it as roulette, but I doubt that this is going to happen, because even people that didn't do coil back in the day, unless they turn their monitor off, will be able to beat these trials. Even the ones with the slowest reaction. It's just to simple.

i failed it in the name of science, you just wipe, though a trial/ex trial like this fight would be fun
