Xp in Lower and higher dungeons

Long story short my tank grew at a fast rate while my hlr is growing at a snails pace after some thought and after i got pulled into sirensong sea i realized the new Stormblood Dungeons were giving out twice as much xp as oppose to the low level ones. I am using the lvling roulette and the dammed msq roulette to lvl. Right now the msq gives more xp than the lvling one does but when i get dragged in to the stormblood dugeons which i did quite often with my tank I get twice as much xp. So whats the deal here? According to the armory bonus i should be getting 50% bonus exp and yet it seems we are at a disadvantage when using the lvling que and we get low level dungeons. There needs to be a buff to lower lvl dungeons when using the lvling roulette so it matches stormblood dungeons.

low level roulette is not meant to be run more than once a day.

you get a large amount of EXP at the end of your first time clear, anything after that youll get normal dungeon exp.


The amount of exp gained at the end of the leveling roulette is also determined by the dungeon you entered in.


Youll get a bigger exp payout at the end if you got satasha in your dungeon compared to if you got sirensong.




Tldr. que for dungeons that match your level, dont rely on leveling roulette pass the initial first bonus

Roulettes just aren't worth the trouble unless you get the Adventurer In Need bonus and you really need some materia. Unfortunately, this is a problem that makes it difficult to find people to run low level content because it just isn't paying out good rewards. The bonus barely makes the low level dungeon run equal to a dungeon run at your level. At least in a dungeon in your level gives you better gear.
