And I'm not against hard work? I've said a million times there is no such thing as a free lunch. That is exactly what we're trying to argue here. Did you miss that vital point? What is the point in trying your hardest to gain top 100 in competitive content when players get the same reward handed out a few weeks later?

Your points are completely valid, I'll agree. You definitely shouldn't be giving away the current ranked sets for free. However, I have never implied it be free. If anything, the price should be very high. For example, if you get 5 tickets for placing gold, the coat should be like 15 tickets at least. That way people would at least get 3 seasons before it becomes available to players who reached gold 3 times in a row. Don't misunderstand me. I do think the ranks are important and I really, really am proud of players who are top 100. I just think that players should have the OPTION to work hard and gain things. Circumstance prevents many players from competing and making top 100. It doesn't make them any less skilled, it just means things happen. Everyone should work hard to obtain what they want, but there should be varying avenues through which you can work hard.

That is the crux of my point. Again, I'll restate. Your points are definitely valid. I just think that you might be looking at it from one side without looking at it from the other as well. Again, calm down.

I'm more than calm. And gold, 5 tickets? It's about as easy to get gold today as it is to order take away. You shouldn't be entitled to a top 100 reward EVER unless achieving a top 100 ranking.

Does it hurt anyone by someone else having the same mount/gear someone got for being in the top 100? Sorry, this is my first season and just broke silver. Legit have had healers who seem like it's their first time playing the role and so me and 3 others are stuck losing points. Point being if at the end I end up in gold only or something, yet have spent just as much time as others if not more in the event, it would be nice to be able to save and use those points later on to get the gear the top 100 are getting.

New healers and new ppl been a thing since season 1. Its not wrong being new vs experienced players. you learn and improve. This is your first season, you should learn to get used to having new people some matches, people who are new just like you. Not go to OF and complain. If you actually liked pvp not for the rewards, you would be pvpin since season 2 at least. Your first 3 posts ever in OF is complaining about ranking exclusive rewards that are repeated every 2 seasons. please stop and go play if you want them. stop embarrassing yourself here.

That said. I'm not jealous, seriously lol. You're reading into my post somehow when I blatantly stated my point. Again, I'll say:

I'm very proud of players who are top 100 in each season. They are very skilled. Good for them!

I am not a top 100 player. I don't generally have the patience or the free time, but I think it's great some people do.

What I meant is that someone like you who's barely played Feast especially premade, think you know what happens, yes there is wintrading in there, but most players that actially are on the list and have the rewards didn't wintrade. But you mister 'I never do Feast' think you know what actually happens in there.

if you want rewards for mindless grinding, then you have plenty achievments to do and those new weapons you can work towards.
The top100 rewards are rewards for people that try being better than the rest, the whole game is designed for casuals already.
Hell getting into the top100 while being a complete casual is easily achieveable.

but guess what there are people who strife to be better than everybody else, and you are trying to take the single prestige that those people can achieve.

You, @Takatsuki make good points as well as @Yoruno. Yes, this is a competitive mode I fully 100% agree with you and again you've both made very valid points!

I think you are both conflating the idea that I think there should be more than one avenue of achieving goals with the idea that goals should be easy or as you so eloquently put it: "Casual".

These two things do not go hand in hand. I DO think it should be hard to achieve. Just about as hard as gaining top 100 in a season that no longer exists (pretty impossible). I just think that the option should exist. Not that it should be an easy option nor that everyone should be capable of achieving it. You'd still need to compete, you'd still need to try hard and play well, but at the end of the day you'd decide between one shitty weapon glamour or one shitty armor glamour.

Also on a side note, you don't have to keep getting your friends to post here in agreement. I understand your points 100%. More people saying them to me over and over just makes you look like a hivemind lol...

You clearly never played during seal rock days. There was no incentive in that besides tomes and most people were capped anyway.
