    PS4 have to redownload 22gb game data after new software update?

    I had no issues with the previous patch for psn software but today they rolled out a new software update for PS4 and when i login my FFXIV game copy it gave me the first time setup issue again.

    I have the most recent patch for ps4. i stut down my ps4 and unplugged it due to a storm and when i tried to log on i now have a 22+gb download. I though this was fixed with the last update?

    It was fixed when sony rolled out patch 4.72 then yesterday they rolled out another update 4.73 and the same issue came back again.

    Does anyone per chance experience the PS4 turning itself off since 4.73?
    I am lucky enough that I didn't have to redownload the game but my PS4 keeps turning off on it's own. It was fine yesterday but it's happened 3 times today...

    I am getting the same issue. I have had this three times since the "fix" and there hasn't even been a powercut. I've literally logged out and had to download a 22gb patch.

    I've had to re download this 3 times I the last 2 weeks =P

    Having the same issue, shut my ps4 down properly last night then this morning when I tried logging in a 22gb download started. I've paused it because I know my game is up to date but I'm not sure how to fix it or whether or not I should do the download.

    Not yet with 4.73 (omg let's hope this ain't jinxing it).

    Am using a custom DNS though (Google dns primary 8.8.8.8 secondary 8.8.4.4).
