Thank you DEV team for the Moonfire Faire. Although some seem to have a problem with one aspect or another, personally I thought it was very well done.

For a start there are two different kinds of FATE you can collect tokens with, you can gather or craft your way to tokens, and there is the conventional task based quest for tokens as well. The story quests were short and humorous, and included a variation on the blowgun mini game, which was nice to see. Without worrying too much about political correctness, my wife and I enjoyed the challenge of spying out the girls while the guys tried to run interference for them.

All in all a pretty good event, much much better than the ludicrous talk to one person and collect your event prize quest that the last make it rain event featured.

Please make more of the seasonal events multifaceted in future. Also, it wold be great, assuming the Lore can handle it, for there to be 2 or 3 more events each year. One in the Heavensward areas, one in Ala Mhigo, and one in Doma, and perhaps even one in Kugane which seems to be a perfect venue for a seasonal event - IMHO.

In any case, this years event had many things to do, something for everyone. One thing that would have made it better would have been dyable versions of the existing swimsuits. I can only hope you intend to make that possible at a future event in the not to distant future, or by adding them as craft able items - that don't require desynthing rare fish with a double dose of RNG.

Thank you again for this years event, please give us more of this sort of thing in future.

But on the other hand a few events in thes newer areas would be nice bonuses for the players who subscribe continously, or do all events have to be available to newbies?

I'd just like to see some of the additional lore for the newer areas fleshed out, and events can serve that purpose.

Supposedly the winter event is celebrated in Ishgard to large extent in the lore. Ingame however not a single decoration went up in the city. The expansion areas are therefore likely to never receive updates for seasonal events. While i would like to see more of the world fleshed out, these events likely wont expand behind a paywall or high level content as they really are the only optional updates newer players can participate in while they go through the long MSQ

I would LOVE if they decorated Ishgard and Kugane/Rahglr's Reach for the seasonals. And im okay with them being in one of the three city states, but it would be nice if they set up "satellite" location for extra tokens or randomn stuff in the newer areas. That would be like a tip of the hat to the people who made it that far while at the same time still being available to the sprouts in the city states. Imagine a starlight celebration in Kugane!? <3_<3

To be honest I love that it's largely in the first 3 areas as it gives me much more reason to go back to a place like costa where otherwise I wouldn't ever really go. In a time like this where SB is still new and everyone will be exploring and discovering things in the new places it's great to be drawn back home essentially

Costa is very well done. Makes me wonder what the older housing areas are going to be like with their redesign for swimming access. Fair was fun. I have to do it a few more times on my main and other alts. The dyeable version of the outfit is nice.

I though it was pretty well done. Some humour, while crude, was still good(events need at least SOME humour after all). Easy to do, and lots of people willing to help with advice or items(there were crafters handing out the Battered Fish to whoever needed it on Cactuar).

We had some crafters doing the same thing on Behemoth last night as well. It was nice to see the community working to help each other, just because they could help.

Costa is one of my favorite locations in the game, so yeah, it was great to see it lively.

Absolutely, I think that would be a great, it is kind of weird that there is no decoration in other areas. Having those areas also dressed uyp for the seasonal events would help bring them into the fold, so to speak.

Oh definitely, I have a few Alts that need their swimsuit options expanded.
