I mean at the very least you owe this to us for everything Stormblood has given us Square Enix. I could say we should just get a 7th in Mogstation but I think 1 free Retainer per expansion is fair, don't you?

4* one per expansion. being late to address something doesn't mean they get to give us less then what we should get. or have a real fix to the bloat, glam log, currency tab, etc:

I like the main idea here, since they said they can't increase retainer space, then, strip item management from them and give us a bank (retainers just be for ventures in that case, players would MB stuff like other games)

Not really. I use 8 Retainers and and am running out of space. A 9th Retainer would be welcome to me.

As a crafter/gatherer/likes glaming I run out of inventory space on my retainers too. Have maxed amount and wouldnt mind 1 more

It is called having more then one job at 70/ crafting and glam. It is called not having enough space for a game that requres too much to play and bloating your inventory with currency. Has nothing to do with hording, we are not given enough space, that simple. Do you know the huge strings some crafts take? Do you understand how much currency fills space? 8 retainers is not enough for this game due to item showering/ lack of glam log and currency tab. Also 35 armory slots is not enough for leveling jobs, you need to consistnly cycle out gear when you go though gear every 2 levels, it is ridiculous how bad inventory management is in this game.

Personally i don't need it. Got a crafter at 70, the rest between late 40's and 70. same with gatherers. i just don't hoard items. i've got an entire retainer free as well as 2 tabs free on my actual character (using only the free retainers)

That is not being a crafter/gather. That is not proof for anything. You can't self sustain at all doing 70-2 star with only one at 70

The money's such a minor thing if we did get a new free one I wouldn't cancel one of my paid ones.

...and could you imagine if we got a new free retainer, but only if we had paid retainers? They'd probably make more money.

The "servers limitation" will be magically removed only for those paying (yeah, it's a pretty selective limitation, isn't it ?)

That's pretty much part of the reason why I have not leveled my crafters yet. I ditched the easy to get ARR materials once. I kinda can't do it again with what I did keep from HW. The amount of core items asked for that are needed to make them, multiple different materials to make most of them, and then the Stormblood recipes asking for those same items that I can't dump is a bit of an issue. One retainer holds synthesis materials and 60+ gear. The other holds 50 gear, a few glamour items, materia, etc. 2 retainers can't hold 3 sections of the game unless you don't use the glamour system and a few other things at all
