The only thing is, with the rewards so plentiful, this special ixion fate will die out just like odin and behemoth in a few weeks.

If people call out Odin/Behemoth there is still a good showing for them. It's just a matter of people actually voicing that they are alive, and where they are.

I've been trying to get invited to some kind of linkshell for this very purpose, but no luck so far. I still need Odin and Behemoth, and now Ixion..............

Good change. no one should wait hours upon hours
on a silly looking mount that's basically a recolour of ponies...congestion an entire area and causing crashes.
they should split where he spawns too.

That mount is so lame looking. I want it nerfed back so I don't have to see it more now.

I'm sorry, but I cannot associate "prestige" with obsessively farming and camping 3 days for a mount. I think "Wow that person is obsessed with being first. Good for them!" when I saw Ixion for the first time 2 weeks after Stormblood launched.
This change is good so you only have to catch Ixion 2-4 times in order to get the mount. I kinda wish they gave 1 horn for bronze though.

Already got the mount. Happy to see it's much easier to get now. Doesn't devalue my Ixion whatsoever nor the time I put into getting it.

Did you do the HW relics before the nerfs to each step? If so, are you salty because of that too?
