Regarding Ixion Horn Drop Changes

Can we talk about the change that was made for Ixion horn drop rate?

Gold: 2 horns / Silver: 1 horn --> Gold: 6 horns / Silver: 3 horns

I think we can all agree camping Ixion is a pain but this change seemed pretty drastic especially so early in the expansion. This change effectively devalues the mount entirely because you can easily get the mount in a single day after a maintenance reset due to the 3 instances still being up.

Unlike the other new mounts added in SB, this was one of the only ones that weren't reliant on RNG and you could get from enough dedication. It's really disappointing that something so unique was devalued just because people can't be patient.

It only takes one Odin or Behemoth to get any of their prizes.

One Foxy Lady (If it ever spawns) for those rewards as well.

Needs two. You get 5 per kill at Gold(or at least I did), and the items cost 6 each. So need 3 kills to get both fedora and jacket.

I would say Ixion is RNG. You never know when it will pop, I could camp all day and go to bed to have it pop 5 minutes later. Either way this sounds more like a "People will have what I have, I don't want them to have it!"

Ixion isn't even that rare. There are a bunch of people who have it on Zalera pre-nerf. I myself am 1 victory away from the mount. It's not a big deal.

I would say Ixion is RNG. You never know when it will pop, I could camp all day and go to bed to have it pop 5 minutes later. Either way this sounds more like a "People will have what I have, I don't want them to have it!"

Or have an entire instance filled because it's supposedly going to "force spawn" for three hours waiting(was supposed to be an hour tops for the spawn...good thing I had stuff I needed to gather in there while waiting).

Ixion, while many argue is not the most good looking mount it is very unique in comparison to the other available mounts. It only made sense that it should take you time and dedication to obtain.

Meh. Let 'em have their overgrown goat mount. If it means paving the way to a instance-free zone then I'm fine with it.

That time and dedication is still there having to sit there and wait for the thing to spawn, or being on at the right time and being able to get to it if not in the zone in time. With the change chances are more people will now be willing to gun for it.
