    Mch input on changes

So this morning I've been testing the mch changes. Seeing how they hold up, and trying to adjust, and I'm running into some problems. Before the patches I was able to average 3.7-3.8k dps. But this morning after the patch I'm only managing 3.5k. I've done my rotation about 5 times to get this number and it's always in the 3.5k.

For some stat info I'm at ilvl320 using fully crafted, except for the gun, which is the Susano's Revolver. There is plenty of room for error of course, as it is early in the morning and I'm still kinda tired, but I didn't think it'd be this much of a difference.

It seems like I'm having trouble lining up my heat for wildfire, where as before I could usually get 85 heat, do a single tick of flamethrower to 95, wildfire into a clean shot to easily overheat the entire length of the wildfire. I just can't do that anymore, should I start overheating before wildfire now? That feels like overheat falls off before wildfire ends so I'm not sure I like it.

Edit: Forgot to mention, these numbers are without food, pots, or any other outside buffs.

Also just managed to get a 3.6k, but still doesn't feel right.

I've been overheating before wildfire (via flamethrower) and still able to fit my 3-2-3-cd-cd within the 10- second overheats, and the shot that pushes you into overheat doesn't gain the damage boost.

One thing I've noticed during a dungeon run on my MCH is that since I don't need to hold off my QR to get hotshot in inbetween, I'm actually generating so few heat that I don't need use cooldown at all outside of overheat. And if I do happen to use it, I'd be delaying my overheat by two GCDs for the next wildfire.

I see, I'll go ahead and start overheating just before wildfire then. See if it changes anything, thanks for the info. As for the CD between WF, I personally don't have that problem, I'm still having to pull a CD off in order to not prematurely overheat. I mean 1-2 ticks of flamethrower should easily push you into Overheat now, which maybe delay you by about 1 GCD at most, 1 tick shouldn't delay you at all. In theory.....

My best run so far on O4S dummy is 4487DPS, average 4300+. Those are with food and potion since I was experimenting with the openers. At the moment I use this opener:

    2 Ammo at start - Potion - Hypercharge - Gauss Raund - Hot Shot - 1 - Reload - Flamethrower until 100 - Wildfire - 2 - RF - Reassemble - 3 - QR - 1 - Ricochet - 2 - Gauss Round - 3

After the first wildfire I return to the good old wildfire with cooldowns:

    Reload - 1 - 2 - 1 - Flamethrower - Wildfire - 3 - RF - QR - 2 - Reassemble - 3 - Ricochet - cd - Gauss Round - cd

323cdcd is good to get memorized because if you ever end up with 95 after Reload, you don't need a Flamethrower tick to get overheated.

Oh yeah I'm i323 with susano wep.
