We shouldn't be complacent and expect that the dev team will just understand the full concerns of the job. This patch has, as many have said in various mediums, like a slap to the face. There are many ways that would help with the job in terms of potency and cooldown changes, including buffing the Ruin spells, lowering the cooldown on Shadowflare, etc. However a 10 potency increase after all the post and thoughts of in this games various communities seems bereft of any real thought or reasonable level of understanding. If there were more of a clear way of understanding the intentions of the dev team outside of the patch notes and the seemingly interspersed interviews, I for one would be more willing to accept this sort of thing to know that they have at least acknowledged some of our concerns.
I think it has more to do with the fact that people don't want to see this place being burned to the ground over the fact that you didn't get an overhaul in a minor bugfix patch when it was said in the same sentence that bigger changes will come later. Keep giving feedback, but don't just flame on mindlessly.
