To be honest I disagree on some of the points mentioned above. I have played mostly healers but also some ranged dps in pvp since 4.0. For the healers as they are now i must say I personally see each of them strong for a specific pvp mode. For example when i play 8v8 feast and I have to solo heal it ( which happens a lot ) I automatically switch to WHM because he is clearly the best pick for that. When i play 4 v 4 Feast I tend to play SCH but to be honest WHM is also ok for that mode. Its true that the AST is a bad pick for the Feast right now but I feel very good with it on Battlegrounds. You have more mobility while healing and you can pull People out of the fight to safe them. What Im trying to say is that I think it is hard to balance the classes for every pvp mode equally. There will probably always be classes that are more viable picks for the Feast but less viable for battlegrounds.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but in my opinion they should balance their classes around their *competitive mode*, which is their Feast 4v4. The other modes are just more casual, for fun ones. And while they do have a little bit of competition, classes shouldn't be sacrificed from the competitive mode for the casual mode. That would be like balancing classes to be good in Dungeons, but lousy in Savages. That would not be acceptable, and neither should this be.To be honest I disagree on some of the points mentioned above. I have played mostly healers but also some ranged dps in pvp since 4.0. If they want their season to grow as a community this is the route they will have to it. It is disrupting that they didn't do anything about it claiming "not enough data" as there were a number of thread on the english and japanese side to say otherwise.Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but in my opinion they should balance their classes around their *competitive mode*, which is their Feast 4v4. That's lame... just lame. Another justification for new PvP system just turned into shit because they didn't even bother balancing PvP the moment we need it the most.
And it is not only about jobs: alt problem will be even worse thx to lvl 30, we still have xp in 4v4 with stupid matchmaking. Heavy medal needs adjustement now and there is still no way to tell other players how to manage stacks, while harassment /toxicity is still ongoing.
You know they are probably saying don't like it don't play it, but you know some of us die hards will still keep on playing.

A Japanese community manager replied to the Japanese thread about why there were no PvP updates.
Google translate gives:
So basically, apparently, people were so preoccupied with Omega that there weren't enough Feast games so they didn't have their numbers so they didn't want to make any changes despite what the community has said. Yet despite this they chose to release the season this early... amazing. Why didn't they just wait until they had their numbers to make adjustments before releasing the season. Everyone would understand and be appreciative, in fact, if they said "Hey actually we aren't ready to release season 5 because we need more time to balance."Good evening.
Thank you for the discussion / feedback on The Feast.
I will explain why PvP related adjustment items are not included in patch 4.06.
We adjusted the PvP action etc in patch 4.05, but
after that it has been concentrated for some time on new content such as "Omega-0 type of dimensions", so
the installation work period of patch 4.06 , It was
difficult to gather 4 to 4 play data and feedback necessary and sufficient for adjustment / review .
Meanwhile, the play of The Fight is increasing now, and many feedbacks have been received, but for
the convenience of the development work, until we actually reflect the opinions / requests actually received in the game, to some extent It will be time for you.
For that reason, we will make adjustments based on the feedback you are currently receiving after the start of the
season, and make adjustments from time to time while checking the playing situation during the season.
We will review / consider your feedback firmly on the development team, so please
continue to submit feedback / discussion on playing The Feast.
And I pray for your good luck in the season 5!
Also wow why is the JP community managers so much cooler that they actually visit the PvP forums?

There are several, comprehensive feedback threads discussing what's wrong and what could use changing. Rather than read through and take even baby steps towards applying positive change, they gave us nothing for the start of a competitive season. What kind of data do you need to realize WAR and RDM are ass? What kind of data do you need to realize DRK and SCH are still pretty crazy?
All I see are excuses.
Edit: OH, and how could I forget the fact they didn't even change anything about The Feast itself... not even Heavy Medal.

Honestly. What you need are true competitive win/loss ratios. You may say "Rdm is too predictable and is undertuned." But if it nets a positive ratio in solo consistently, then that feedback falls flat in favor of a job that can't preform.
Given limited staff the devs likely do not have the capacity to make frequent updates on the level of esports. So the have to be both more conservative and cautious when implementing changes.
