    So another patch that Cause mch to be less fun and still do nothing for the job.
    Flamethrower change is probably the only nice chance if you want to hit overheat but overheat and wildfire dmg is still so shit it still doesn't make much of a difference to our dmg as MCH.
    and now wf being just EVER SO SLIGHT increase dmg that it still doesn't matter.
    and to top it all off BRD GETS More buffed when its beyond a good spot while they still do almost nothing for mch every patch cept make it such terrible job to play. Like when sb launch and i got my heated skills Shit was fun now its like YAWN wake me up when something happens.

    I think the changes were a step on the right direction. Hot Shot being 1 minute is a indirect damage buff, because that 1 less Hot Shot every minute.

    They finally clarified that we are supossed to overheat during Wildfire. And the Flamethrower ticking for 20 heat makes that easier.

    Dismantle is a small utility buff, but we still need more.

    I wouldn't mind the 10 heat for the heated shots to come back.

    And to answer something. I play MCH since 3.x. MCH always played around Wildfire timings. You would never use a cooldown if Wildfire was coming up soon. And if it wasn't coming up soon, that meant you ruined your cooldown sync.

    Short of maybe the 1 less hotshot to use every 60 seconds, I'm having trouble grasping how some of you found this patch to be less fun to play than 4.05. We got what we wanted otherwise, an overheat that wasn't questionable.

    Yes the class isn't as fun as it was in 4.0, but I think we as a community have become quite calloused and jaded and quick to knee jerk that everything is a bad thing that's making us stray further from God (4.0).

    And people need to stop pretending like MCH was ever a class that didn't try to pump everything it had into Wildfire. Seriously, this class was always about Wildfire.

    I think your miss interpreting not fun with still isn't fun. It was fun back during 4.0 when we had stuff to do between WFs, but now it's getting to be less and less.

    No I get that, but what I'm asking is what is actually less fun from this patch from the last. It feels the same except for slightly bigger Wildfires and a different opener. People here (You as well) are saying it's getting less fun with every patch, and with this patch I'm asking exactly what is less fun considering we didn't really get a change that in my wildest dreams could be "less fun". We use hotshot less once a minute and our opener changed.

    Do effectively potency increases fix our fun issue? No- but they certainly didn't make it worse this patch. That's why I'm saying that the MCH community has become really kneejerky with the anti fun slogan.

    Heat needs to be readjusted to be 10 per weapon skill for it to go back to the pacing it was before 4.05. The way it is right now, since I don't need to delay my reload/quick reload to refresh hot shot, I don't even need to use cooldown at all inbetween my wildfires. The ability itself lost most of it's purpose of managing heat properly, since your heat generation is so low that it lines up with wildfire's cooldown regardless. They should've kept at making MCH less punishing with overheat (by increasing overheat damage or lowering BS cooldown), rather than making it harder to accidentally overheat to begin with.

    I miss 4.0's heat management dearly! But I'm more concerned with now considering I doubt they're gonna go back on that one :<

    I mean in regards to now, I really don't think there's much issues with MCH as far as gameplay is concerned. Their potencies can always be readjusted if they're still under performing, and dismantle being 60 seconds makes it a much more worthwhile counter part to bard's blanketing troubador. They've already address the issue I have with MCH being too punishing (lowering BS's cooldown and remoiving the heat reduction from quick reload). Now it's just a bit too simpllified since there's very few factors for a MCH to keep involved.

    This is, quite simply, not the buff I wanted to see. I really don't like dealing with overheating. The 10 seconds following it really, really suck. Potency buffs would've made me happy. Guess now I have to go figure out how to properly Overheat a Wildfire.

    I like the changes, the only thing I don't like about Overheating being worthwhile now is that it's a pain getting into it before you get Flamethrower while still being able to fit buffs and other stuff into the Overheat time while Wildfire is ticking. Once I get to 70 though I will be having a good time with it. That said I do agree that the heat mechanic itself was a lot more fun when you generated 10 per heated shot and had to manage it more and I'd be really pumped if they went back to that.

    One thing I think would be nice is if they made Barrel Stabilizer automatically give you your Gauss Barrel back at the same time so it's one less button press. Not really a big deal but it would make it a little more fluid.
