There's a ton of unused music that was composed before release and never put in. Even after 1.18, there's quite a few "new" tracks that they can put in the game^^ Been w8ing for the New Choco remix in 14 to be implemented and will finally get that in 1.19 A majority of the "new" tracks added are remixes or variations of past FF titles... not a big fan of them using a remixed version of tactics map music though but w/e xD personal preference... much more epic songs to use :P

I am betting there is a large portion of the playerbase that is eagerly awaiting the newest FF chocobo theme, i know i am excited for it! More FF atmosphere incoming!

Oh she is the composer for Crystal Chronicles? As bad as everyone made that game out to be, it was really great fun and had some beautiful music!

Yep. One of my biggest disappointments from Fanfest 2007 was that they quickly sold out of the boxed set of the FFXI soundtracks. Both Kumi Tanioka and Naoshi Mizuta were there, and I SO wanted an autographed OST box set from them.

I love the news musics too !!!
But they are not really new new : some really bad people looked into the source of the alpha version of the game and found more than 60 tracks of music composed by Uematsu, including all the 'new' tracks of 1.18.
With the 'new' music tracks of 1.18, i think we may approximatly have reached 45 tracks on 60 ... or less.

I WANT THEM TOO !!!! And to know their names !!!
I hope they are not going to wait the ps3 release to release the complete soundtrack.
