My Monk is level 61 and my RDM is level 61 i can't continue the main story quest because you need to be level 62.According to your lodestone you dont have a level 70 character. I would advice you to do the Main Story Quest for your first class and level the other classes this way.
What I do for leveling my DPS classes (as a healer or tank you get instant --- 5 min wait time in queue anyway), is:
- Do daily roulettes, everything, but Frontlines and Expert.
- Complete the FATES, Dungeons and Guildhest challenge log.
- Queue for dungeons and while you are waiting go do FATES.
- Do the daily Centurion Hunts, they give decent experience and as a level 62 with 270 gear you can easily kill the level 67 mobs. The only one that I could not kill were targets in The Loch.
- Always have the FC buff on and always eat food for the 3% experience bonus.
- Rest in zones with the moon icon for rested experience bonus.
I hope this helped.
FATE are open world multi-player content. But they now scale more depending on participation. You can solo pretty much all of them at your level and below, especially with a chocobo. FATE are exactly the way they expected IMHO, I don't think they were designed with a view to being solo'd that's simply a factor of the scaling.
FATE and hunt marks while Q for dungeons as well as doing MSQ will easily, and quickly level you.
I only remember having to do 4-5 times for each level. Just so you know only the level 63 dungeon is optional, the other dungeons are locked behind the Main Story Quest. So you have to do the Main Story Quest or face long grinding experience to level 70.
You can certainly solo most FATEs with a Choco Healer with the exception of some of the special FATEs. I do it all the time.
Problem is I want to continue on with the MSQ for stormblood. Lvling my crafts jobs right now isn't something i really want to do cause thats just gonna take decades to get to hit 70 like you stated. Anyway i'm gonna try all the things people mentioned gives me a lot to think about when it comes to leveling to 70. Hate the fact that MSQ is locked behind all different levels to be able to continue with it. It just kills the flow and the immersion of the game play. You can solo most fates as dps with your choco. The boss fates are sometimes too much handle but with one other they are doable as well. You can get the low 60s fates in the fringes. Usually 3 or so up.
You can do as others suggest as well and use PF or lvl crafting/gathering in between. That would ofc make it take longer to hit 70 but you get other things done in the process
Thank you to everyone that gave me advice in ur comments I will try them all.
Oh I didn't read through everything so didn't know it was your first play through. Just do MSQ and when you hit a spot you need to be higher at then Q for the dungeon and FATE grind for a level. If you get bored of that you can always do side questsProblem is I want to continue on with the MSQ for stormblood. Dude, there are 5 side quests per zone that you have to do for the Aether currents to fly, you might as well do the other side quests near by at the same time, there is tons of XP locked inside the side quests.
