Fantasia preview room

So as a player who likes to fantasia from time to time, I have run into an issue wherein I've liked a certain aspect of my character in the creation screen yet while in game it's looked horrible.

So I was thinking.....What if we had a little instanced room that we could enter and preview our character before finalising the fantasia change. A room where we could run around, change the day and night cycle, preview all our emotes, and a striking dummy to test out our battle voice sounds, kind of like an upgraded version of the way we preview our characters now but more in depth so we can really see how our character feels and play. any support, or thoughts on this would be welcome

PS for anyone who wants to comment by saying just make an alt, already thought of that but I think my idea would be more convenient, as the ability to preview the way I described would allow you to see all of your current gear sets on the character, and emotes you may have on your main but not on your alt.

How about they simply give us 12 to 24 hours to adjust our characters after using a fantasia before it becomes permanent. The character creation screen just doesn't give us the true feel of what are characters will be like until we are in world.

I have had times where I had to buy more then 1 fantasia, because the skin colour ingame would not match the skin colour in the character creation. I think giving the player 24 hours to change their mind is a good suggestion. I do fear that this will make SE lose money, so they wont add this.

Call me crazy, but I'd like it if the Aesthetician Bell allowed us to alter everything about our character's appearance outside of race, gender, and clan(also none of the nameday/star sign stuff).

And price it like SWTOR where the more things you change, the more expensive it is. So changing a hairstyle/colour might be 2000 gil, but changing your height, face shape, or skin colour might be 4k-5k gil.

I would absolutely LOVE this, although I don't know of any other games that offer that type of a service. Sadly, don't see that one happening.

Definitely a good idea, but don't forget y'all can change the background and lighting in character creation, so at the very least you should be able to get an accurate view of what it looks like in La Noscea, the Shroud, and Thanalan in both day and night lighting. That doesn't help for the HW and SB zones but it's something.

I do this all the time - and all too often I'll get the message where I can't create any additonal characters for the day. lol. Also, it's far easier now that you can just skip the opening CS's. That wasn't an option a while back.

My only complaint with this is that you aren't able to test your new character in your actual gear. I find gear can look quite different depending on your race/coloring/etc.
