How does SE justify these ten min enrages, but doesnt let anyone know their dps

Anyways, I've sene kicking happening and not only because the persons dps is low but also they tend to mess up mechanics a lot often, which is the main reasonw why I've seen people getting kicked. This has nothing to do with parsers at all.

Ah thanks! I figured it was just because I was a posting newbie and I'm not allowed to say more than 1000 characters :P

Oh, mechanics are definitely a factor in kicks, and there are a lot of people who don't watch videos (I ran a Mhach the other night, and I had to tell my entire PT what to do as they had no idea). But at the same time I also see a lot of slander due to parsing. I don't know, it's just sending me into despair. Everything was going swimmingly until SB arrived and parsing has suddenly accelerated. Now there's just a constant pressure to 'git gud'. Rather like a credit rating, FFLogs displays your 'rating' without any ability on your part to stop it, or stop people parsing you. You can hide your profile, but you can't stop people parsing you and naming you on that site. I had a Susano Ex farm once where the DPS parsed, then linked. One DPS was bottom of the list. They left a couple of minutes after the person had linked to the parse. I can't assume, but I think they were shamed.

In FF11 none of this mattered whatsoever and that's how I preferred it. The community was better. The people were friendlier. You didn't know what kind of damage other people were doing. I've been online gaming since I was pre-pubescent and I've never encountered such an angry bunch of people. Maybe I'm just getting old, but maybe I should stop online gaming if this is what it's turning into now. I don't agree with public parsing. I can understand some people wanting to do it, but not why the rest of us get dragged into it. I'm just losing my faith in people. I thought gamers were my kin, but I'm struggling.

I realise this is my problem but I love this game and I don't want to stop and it's conflicting me badly.
