So much this. As a healer main I can look through a fight and see exactly where I'm over-healing instead of dpsing, plan my cooldowns, and check exact damage values different people are taking from specific aoes so I know which heals to use. This isn't something that's cheating, it's already possible to do it via recordings and the battle log. What parsers do is save me a s**t ton of time in analysing an encounter to improve.
