Open Discussion: DPS Qeue fix ideas

SE revolves this game around light parties of 4 and parties of 8. they wont make it 5 man dungs because of this. it would throw off the entire balancing team from dung to 8man primals to 24man raids. its all about the 4s and evenly balancing all the content. but if ur sick of DPS times you could always level a tank. they are piss easy to play.

Honestly the moment SE decided to not just stick with the trinity, but ENFORCE it as well, was the moment this was going to happen. DPS has been and will always be in any MMO, Hero Shooter, MOBA or otherwise the most popular over-saturated, overpopulated role period. The old school mentality is just that, old school ... However do you know what would happen if they dropped it and started working on Hybridization? Everyone would then complain about hybridization and that they don't feel special anymore! So coming back to this "frustration" DPS feel that they can't get pugs, super-fast and super-now: Use PF instead. Oh I know it involves work and a little bit of interaction with other players and that might be "hard" and "annoying" and "stressful" but you know what? It will be better than you waiting for half an hour complaining that you can't get a party when everyone and their grandmaw who DPSes are trying to do the same darn thing. Or you know what? Pick up one of the other 2 roles if you are so bored.

Tank and healer pop in HW didn't really change outside of the hype right at the start.

Didn't the Devs say they'd think of adding a 3rd class (presumably a tank or a healer) if queue times got so bad?

At launch, DPS queues were 1 hr plus. Now, they are at about 30 min at most, 20 min at best. While the DPS queues haven't changed all that much, they've still gotten worse.

No i am fairly certain they stated with absolute no 3rd job like they had done with Nin so we most likely have to wait until 5.0 for a tank and healer, that is if they are not stupid about it and go with more dps again... :/
