This is SE problem because the new classes were both dps no new shiny tank nor healer so of course people gravitate towards dps...

No. The problem hasn't changed or got significantly worse with SB. We have had DPS complaints about Q time since just about day 1 in ARR. the problem is and always will be that far fewer people are willing to play tank or healer than are willing to play DPS. the issues with tank and healer roles are role based, not job specific, so having a new sparkly tank or healer would do nothing in the long term and would be nothing more than a shot term boost to the Qs. Sooner of later the role issues bite and we are back to square one.

I blame the state of healers and tanks, first and foremost.

It's currently possible to be chewed out as a healer for doing DPS or NOT doing DPS, because either players get hit by avoidable damage and you shouldn't have DPSed (and now you're OOM you needed to heal the tank), or they don't and you SHOULD have DPSed because that mana was just sitting around doing nothing anyway.

In either case, you'd need to have been clairvoyant to know which was going to happen.

Probably a small minority.
Because people don't usually have a lot of time to play the game
during the day and wanna run dungeons.

The Problem is : They made Tanks and Healers unfun to play. I play Warrior again not because its fun but because the Waiting times for DPS are horrible and they get treated like lesser Persons on the pool i play. Warrior is the least boring of the three Tanks for me.. i still hope for some improvements though.

Did they? I actually love playing my WHM or my PLD. Feels just like 2.x again, well not 100% but close and it's hard to believe that we haven't done that much earlier. DPS on the other hand, I could live without, yes everybody wants to play it, yet there's only 5 out of 100 people that can find their buttons. It's ridiculous.

Yeah. PLD is in a much better place now, but think about how bad it used to be and how many people were put off by it. I think a lot of the damage has already been done. They'd NEVER attempt rolling out a DPS class with only 1 combo and almost no AoE but, because PLD was a tank, it was deemed acceptable. A lot of MMOs do this to themselves. It's like devs are afraid to give anything, "cool" to tanks or healers (FF14 does a much better job than most MMOs do, though).

They added a new tank and healer in HW. IMO it didn't really appear to increase the player populations in their roles as an overwhelming majority of DPS players stayed DPS and it was players previously playing tank and healer classes that were trying the new tank and healer to see how it was different than the previous ones.

I have to repeat myself on this topic quite alot.... Noone played DRK and AST because they were extremely underpowered and 20 Levels Away from Heavensward content. Also there was no Palace of the Dead to level them fast. The new Jobs in SB were extremely requested, are very powerful and can join the SB content within a few hours thanks to POTD.

I played AST from the get go. Even when it healed for like 300potency when everyone else healed for 400.

One of my FCmates switched from BLM to DRK almost immediately, too.

We may not have been the majority, but we certainly aren't "no-one" and we're certainly not the only ones.
