Am I the only person who likes long DPS queues? Means I can get other stuff done like hunts or fates or even do some chores around the house.

The Problem is : They made Tanks and Healers unfun to play. I play Warrior again not because its fun but because the Waiting times for DPS are horrible and they get treated like lesser Persons on the pool i play. Warrior is the least boring of the three Tanks for me.. i still hope for some improvements though.

Did they? I actually love playing my WHM or my PLD. Feels just like 2.x again, well not 100% but close and it's hard to believe that we haven't done that much earlier. DPS on the other hand, I could live without, yes everybody wants to play it, yet there's only 5 out of 100 people that can find their buttons. It's ridiculous. The Problem is : They made Tanks and Healers unfun to play. As said this is a playerbase issue with the roles in a group. SE cannot fix this without redesigning the entire game.
They added a new tank and healer in HW. IMO it didn't really appear to increase the player populations in their roles as an overwhelming majority of DPS players stayed DPS and it was players previously playing tank and healer classes that were trying the new tank and healer to see how it was different than the previous ones.
My Idea would be a EXP bank, you can Queue as either 1 DPS a tank or a healer, (so 1st choice main and the others sub choice) if a duty crops up asking you to switch to a sub choice) exp would be banked for you to trade to an NPC for another job, maybe even a scroll at the end of a raid, worth the accumulation of what the said duty was worth. switch to your dps job and use it
I'm not convinced it's just tanks/healers we're waiting on. I'm doubting there are enough instances available (particularly for lower level stuff). if I queue for 50/60 roulette, I'll be waiting 10 minutes before I even see a number, then I'm #49. I have to confess, I'm getting very tired of the long waits. Lately I take a look at the queue times and end up just logging off instead. It's made worse that the only effective way to level from 60+ is a handful of the same dungeons/roulettes. (Or should I say it would be effective it it didn't involve hours of waiting about every day). Releasing the new deep dungeon might alleviate it, dps will turn to it as an option and their won't be so many of them in the other queues.
They had something like that in Valkyrie Profile. It's an interesting idea.My Idea would be a EXP bank, you can Queue as either 1 DPS a tank or a healer, (so 1st choice main and the others sub choice) if a duty crops up asking you to switch to a sub choice) exp would be banked for you to trade to an NPC for another job, maybe even a scroll at the end of a raid, worth the accumulation of what the said duty was worth. switch to your dps job and use it
Probably a small minority.
Because people don't usually have a lot of time to play the game
during the day and wanna run dungeons.
I'm leveling my Tanks at the moment and tbh after what I saw getting PLD to 70 I'm reluctant to use the DF without FC mates.
I don't mind slow dps or the usual derp but when you get people calling the healer autistic because they took damage or trying to pull extra mobs onto me because I refuse to triple pull because the healer is gear relevant to the content and asked me not to: Yeah, jumping into DF to facilitate jerks isn't appealing, there's only so many of them I can Shirk.
I have been lucky to have only had one toxic party since 2.0 as tank (WAR/DRK), but it was REEEEEALLY bad so I feel for you there.I'm leveling my Tanks at the moment and tbh after what I saw getting PLD to 70 I'm reluctant to use the DF without FC mates.
