I really just don't see how this problem can be solved without changing the community mindset, And considering people don't like change...Well good luck with that.

A gem cannot be polished without friction, Nor a person perfected without adversity.
I DPS almost everything I do, and it is rare to have a longer than 20 minute wait for anything. Maybe on the 50-60 roulette. Maybe. But again, maybe I'm spoiled. When I left WoW for this game, 45 minute queues were normal, and hour long or more were not uncommon. So, I just queue and then go harvest or hunt or something and it pops before I know it. So long story slightly less long, I don't even see 20 minutes as a problem. I wouldn't mind shorter times, but I don't feel the need to shake up the game for it or anything.
The only way to fix DPS queues is for you, yes you specifically, the person reading this for a solution, to switch to a tank or healer. Otherwise, they won't be fixed. As simple as that.
That said, when I play a tnak or a healer, I usually bring at least one DPS friend along so that I don't have to deal with lvl 50+ dungeon runs and DPS tellign me "we don't have good AoE DPS" so they decide to single target a group of 10+ mobs until the healer runs out of MP from spamming Adlo ( zzzz...)

That does suck. On my server I usually get into Expert in less than 15 minutes, Leveling around the same and Trials in less than 10.
I actually like having a bit of downtime between queues as it let's me do my daily hunts or level a gatherer or something.
2 options: You could bring NPC tank/healer/dps(maybe the Squadrons?) into dungeons, but not going to happen in XIV. Or Advanced Jobs with 5.0, they could do tank/healer/dps job alone, similar how Hero works in PSO2.

This is true.
Personally speaking anyrhing except expert only ever gets done for the experience bonus. So then I'm only ever going to queue those roulettes on whatever job I'm levelling...
Many players are the same. This is why I and several others have suggested in similar threads to make the ain bonus an usable experience boost scroll. Something that equates to a decent percentage of a level maybe 20% on the job used.
If they had this I'd tank more roulettes for faster and use the scrolls on whatever job I wanted to level.

If adding two more DPS spots would have fixed the queue, then SE would have done it years ago. There are two ways to fix the queue:
- DPS players start playing the other roles more.
- SE makes Tanking and Healing more appealing to the DPS players. The downside is by appealing to the DPS players, they might chase away the current Tanks and Healers.

Maybe they could add a second role per job so people can still play the pixels they like while filling needed roles too.If adding two more DPS spots would have fixed the queue, then SE would have done it years ago. There are two ways to fix the queue:
